Do you find it difficult to express yourself in English? There is always more than one way to make the same point or ask a similar question. There are often several ways to say something. Sometimes, there is no difference in meaning, while sometimes changing the way that you say something may change the meaning slightly or even considerably! The words that we choose and the way that we say them also often affect the tone. We may sound direct or indirect, certain or uncertain, decisive or tentative, or at times polite or impolite.
