Join us for an immersive French Movie Night on 27 November at 19:00 as we observe the UN's International Day for Tolerance (la Journée internationale de la tolerance, 16 November), with the support of Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau. This special event is designed to foster empathy, understanding, and open dialogue through the power of French cinema. We will be screening the highly acclaimed, multi-César Award nominated French drama "Je verrai toujours vos visages" (All Your Faces, 2023, approx. 120 mins).

About the Movie:
Since 2014, France has implemented Restorative Justice (Justice Restaurative) — a system offering victims and perpetrators of violent crimes a secure space to enter into a moderated dialogue . Jeanne Herry’s powerful ensemble film brings us directly into these intense, deeply private sessions . We follow the parallel stories of victims of burglaries and assaults, and a victim of sexual abuse, as they sit face-to-face with offenders. Through a rollercoaster of anger, vulnerability, hope, and hard-earned trust, the participants embark on a difficult path toward healing, forgiveness, and mutual recognition. The movie is in French, supplemented with English subtitles.
