Miss Ching Sau Man

Ms. Ching Sau Man has served in both special and mainstream schools over 30 years. In her career path, she has held positions such as Principal of Child Development Centers and Education Centers, Vice Principal of subsidized primary school, Instructor at the Hong Kong Education Bureau's Fung Hon Chu Gifted Education Center, and Executive Director of various charitable organizations. She has received recognition such as Outstanding Student Award in Leadership Development Programme for Middle Leaders from Hong Kong Baptist University(香港浸會大學中層人員領導培訓課程), and Excellent Lesson Plan Award from the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association (香港通識教育協會). With extensive frontline experience in promoting inclusive education, education for the gifted, and parent support, Ms. Ching is currently a guest lecturer at the Hong Kong Education University and as tutor for some modules of Diploma in Special Education at the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education.

This talk aims to enable participants to understand if we want to help SEN students to succeed in their studies, we must begin with "hearts", and we also need appropriate teaching "ability". There will be case sharing of SEN students about academic, behavior, and family support.
