This seminar is about sharing information on various programmes related to medical laboratory science (MLS). The programmes offered by the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong can help people pursue careers in medical laboratory science, such as becoming a medical laboratory technologist or obtaining a degree in biomedical related area. Additionally, the seminar will introduce two new programmes. One of them covers topics that teach how to efficiently process and analyze the large amount of sequencing data generated by medical laboratories, which can help with clinical diagnosis. The other programme provides students with essential knowledge in biology and supports them to pursue further study to a degree level. The goal of the seminar is to help people understand what programmes are available and how they can benefit from these programmes.
