What's Happening Events

For over a decade, the eHealth Consortium has been a driving force in promoting Electronic Health Records (eHR) in Hong Kong. By providing a collaborative platform for both public and private healthcare sectors, the Consortium has actively supported the advancement of eHR, aligning with global trends in digital health development

The HKSAR Government launched the territory-wide Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHRSS) in early 2016, significantly enhancing continuity of care and improving the quality of healthcare delivery for citizens. Building on this foundation, the Government initiated Stage Two Development of eHRSS in July 2017 to further benefit patients and the healthcare sector.  The Asia Pacific eHealth Conference offers a platform for national policymakers, healthcare and health informatics professionals, and ICT industry leaders from around the world to exchange insights and engage in policy discussions with experts in Hong Kong.

The Conference is co-organised by the Hong Kong Society of Medical Informatics, eHealth Consortium & HL7 Hong Kong, HKU SPACE is a supporting organisation of this event, which will take place at the Hong Kong Science Park on 26-27 November 2025.
