Mr Welby Chung
Welby Chung (VJ Welby) is an award-winning director specialising in music videos, animation, and advertising. A graduate of Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Design, he began his career in animation and art direction in 1996. . His acclaimed works have earned prestigious recognitions including a Golden Melody Award nomination (Taiwan, 2008), Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Excellence Award (2007), and awards at international film festivals in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. As founder of Crossfade Creative, Welby has expanded his creative vision across commercials, music videos, and graphic design since 2008. With a background in dance and VJ performance, he has collaborated with top artists like G.E.M., Julian Cheung, Raymond Lam, and Chrissie Chau, blending dynamic visuals with compelling storytelling. His multidisciplinary expertise continues to shape Hong Kong's vibrant creative scene.
