Observing Legal Perspectives

Gain insight into how legal practitioners interpret current happenings around us. A discussion and forum to discuss how legal education shapes a different worldview and enriches learning across multiple disciplines. No legal background is required, and the session will be led by one of our established lecturers on the Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law (CPE) and Certificate in Legal Studies (CLS) by taking you through digestible local news and observations. Learn how legal training and education can broaden your horizons professionally through pathways into qualified legal practice, as well as personally through knowledge enrichment.

This session will be primarily conducted in Cantonese, but certain terminologies and materials may be supplemented in English.

Join us and have a taste of legal education and get to know our team and teachers on the CPE and CLS: come experience the teaching style and perspectives of active practitioners and law teachers, so please feel free to sit in and even ask any questions you have about the course, exams, study & career tips, etc. We are happy to answer any questions if we can!

The CPE and CLS are Hong Kong's most popular part-time law courses with established PCLL success. Due to CPE's history and proven success, places are limited and potential applicants are encouraged to apply before 1 April 2023 to both save HK$250 on the application processing fee and benefit from our early admission pathway. For more information, please click HERE. For the CLS apply before the April intake to save on the fee increase for this year, please click HERE for further information.

The Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law (CPE) is an exempted course under the Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance. It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which these courses may lead.
