Dr. Dimitrios Koufopoulos, MBA Programme Director, University of London

Dr. Dimitrios brings over twenty-five years’ experience, including teaching, lecturing, and the design and delivery of online learning materials and courses. He holds an MBA and a PhD in Business Administration from Cardiff University. He is the founder and research director of the Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance, a research and education centre dedicated to the study and application of responsible principles of corporate governance in Greece. Among his publications, he has contributed to many reviews and journals, and has co-authored a book with Martyn Pitt, Essentials of Strategic Management (Sage, 2012).

Dr. Alan is an accomplished, technically competent board-level and operations executive with over 20 years’ experience and extensive international exposure spanning several dozen countries. He is Managing Director of Liquate, an engineering consultancy specializing in disruptive technologies. He got PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering from Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1998. He is both a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Manager, is able to develop and implant strategic, operational, financial and risk management plans with realistic optimism, subservience to purpose, and the ability to find order in chaos.
