Highlights

If you wish to develop skills and competencies in disability inclusion in employment and help your company or organisation to build DE&I capacity, this programme is for you!

What is disability inclusion in employment?

Disability inclusion is an aspect of the practice of diversity, equality, and inclusion (DE&I) in workplace to make a company or organisation confident and competent in welcoming employees with disabilities.  DE&I capacity is being seen as an important measure of successful workplace.  Commitments to DE&I and ESG are taken as essential for long-term sustainability.

Successful disability inclusion in employment relies on proper understanding of disability, awareness of the legal and policy context, and development of tools and skills fostering good practice.

What will you learn?

Students will learn laws, policies, and good practices in relation to disability inclusion in employment and will develop confidence and competence based on applicable universal and domestic norms.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Disability Employment and Inclusion is an internationally ground-breaking programme that brings experts from law, disability studies, management, and psychology together to provide an inter-disciplinary and skills-focused capacity-building learning experience.  The programme is keyed to the Hong Kong’s legal and policy context where both universal and domestic norms apply.  It also responds to the global trend of DE&I good practices in the business and social sectors.

  • Human resource and talents development professionals
  • Company executives and managers
  • Equal opportunities officers
  • DE&I managers/ officers
  • NGO executives and managers
