Programme Objectives / 课程目标

This programme aims to introduce students to the history and important historical figures of the Sengoku period in Japan. Students will learn about the society and culture of Japan during that period and gain an insight of the societal and cultural influences of the Sengoku period on modern Japan.    

本课程通过介绍日本战国时代的历史及重要历史人物,加深学员对该时期日本社会和文化的认识,并体会战国时代的社会文化对现代日本社会及文化的影响。

2.  Japan at the period (1) - The dawn of the Sengoku period / 战国时代下的日本 (1) - 战国时代的开始

  • What was the political situation of the shogunate?
  • The birth of sengoku daimyo (feudal lords) - Model case: Ise Moritoki (Hojo Soun)

Learning Outcomes / 学习成果

On completion of the programme, students should be able to

  1. Discuss the history, society and culture of the Sengoku period in Japan;
  2. Explain the societal and cultural influences of the Sengoku period on modern Japan;
  3. Compare and contrast the description of the Sengoku period in today’s mass media with the actual historical facts.
Assessment and Award / 评核及学衔

A Certificate for Module (Japanese Sengoku Period) will be awarded within the HKU system through HKU SPACE to students who have satisfied the following criteria:

  • achieve 70% attendance of the programme; and
  • pass all the assessments

学员符合下列所有要求,将可按香港大学体制,经香港大学专业进修学院颁授「证书(单元 : 日本战国时代)」:

  • 出席率达70%或以上;及
  • 通过所有评核取得合格成绩

凡於「九龙东分校」上课之学员,由於要配合社区书院收生程序,6至8月的上课日期、地点或有更改,课堂有机会调往其他分校上课。如有更改,学科会透过SOUL2.0网上学习系统发布最新的上课资讯。敬请学员届时留意。如没有任何通知,则请按照原定时间上课。

凡於「九龙西分校」上课之学员,每堂必须出示报读HKU SPACE课程之正式收据或终身学员证,方可进入分校。部份课堂或会调往其他分校上课,请特别留意。

Applicants shall:

  • hold an “Advanced Diploma in Japanese Communication and Culture” awarded within the HKU system through HKU SPACE; OR 
  • hold an “Advanced Diploma in Japanese” awarded within the HKU system through HKU SPACE; OR
  • have passed Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) level 1 or N1.

Applicants with other qualifications will be considered on individual merit.

b.) 完成本院「日语高等文凭」课程并取得合格成绩;或

c.) 日本语能力试验1级或N1合格者;

此课程已列入持续进修基金可发还款项课程名单。如学员成功修毕课程及符合有关条件,可获发还有关课程费用的最多80%(首10,000元)及60%(次15,000元)。申请人可不限次数申领合共最多 25,000 港元的资助,但必须在成功修毕基金课程后的一年内(注:根据成功修毕课程日期或指定的语文基准试的考试日期(如适用),以较后者计一年内)递交申请。该基金申请视乎持续进修基金可供运用款项的多寡审批(以上资料如有更改,以CEF网页内资料为准)。
