This course is an 18-hour science, creative activity and English course which will cover:

• The introduction of coding, robotics in the world today.
• The construction and programming of the robots.
• Learning scientific vocabulary and terminology.
• Building discussion and presentation skills.
• Heightening listening skills through videos.

Students will take part in a mixture of theory and practical activities which in turn provide opportunities for the use of English. The aim is to build up everyday English. So that students build the confidence and acquire the knowledge on how to communicate effectively. This is done through a number of ways by using exercises based on video, worksheets, discussions and teamwork. For the science part it is about understanding the importance of computers coding, robotics and programming play in the world today.

This course is designed for youngsters who wish to improve skills and confidence in the usage of English. The aim is to allow students who do not get the opportunity due to family background to use English for communication.
