Graduate Sharing: Shek Wai Ting
I enrolled into the programme with a decade of management experience in the creative scene. I intended to bridge my former work experience and qualification together with the landscape of social sciences to conduct studies about the social identities of creative practitioners in Hong Kong. The programme allowed me to explore deeper into the research area that I am interested in. It also offered me practical experience in the honours project to polish the research and academic writing skills I needed to apply for positions in research fellowships or other master’s degree programmes. I strongly recommend this programme to fellows who would like to pursue further studies in the future. The teaching staff of this programme are all with a variety of backgrounds working in the field of social sciences. Their guidance and advice have been helpful to my journey of work and studies. |
