The School provides a wide range of programmes in response to public interest, covering such topics as food safety, pesticide safety, science communication, landscape design and environmental improvement to promote quality of life. Courses are offered at varying levels to provide students with both sound fundamental knowledge and advanced teaching designed to develop professional competencies.
Additionally, in view of global urbanization and the increasing concern on promotion of green measures, programmes related to environmental studies are offered to students pursuing training in green management, sustainability and green building.

– essence of climate strategy, carbon accounting and management
The Climate Competence programme familiarizes participants with physical implications of climate change and links them to the policy and technical debates on climate action. Sessions will examine top-level climate action related to the Paris Climate Agreement, and explore the resulting responsibilities that climate action brings for governments, companies and individuals.
Genetic counselling, a communication process which deals with the occurrence, or risk of occurrence, of a genetic disorder in a family, is in high demand in Hong Kong, because of the need for pre-test and post-test counselling for the increasing number of complex genetic and genomic tests.
This short course aims to create awareness and provides an introduction to the field of genetic counselling to healthcare professionals.
