Nursing Studies & Healthcare
Nursing as a profession has a strong focus on the health care of the person, the family, and the community. It supports and sustains the promotion and maintenance of health. A generally extended life span, emergence of new diseases, growing awareness of health care and new medical technologies and research, have called for new expectations and expanding needs on the nursing and health care professionals.
In line with the School's tradition in providing excellent quality education, Nursing Studies & Healthcare has been offering a comprehensive choice of awards and non-award-bearing nursing and health care programmes in the past decade. We offer pre-registration nursing programme, health services management and specialty nursing programmes such as gastroenterology, renal nursing, gerontology, oncology and palliative care and enterostomal therapy, as well as elderly care and physiotherapy courses.
