Mr. Angus Yip

Mr. Angus Yip is market practitioner for ESG reporting. He obtained a Master Degree in “Sustainability Leadership” from Cambridge University and a Professional Postgraduate Certificate in “Corporate Sustainability and Innovation” from Harvard University. Angus is also Advisor to two NGOs: “World Green Organisation” and “HK Institute of Business Ethics and Sustainability”.

ESG investing is one of the fastest growing areas in recent years and has shifted from a niche area of investment into the mainstream. This is certainly an investment market segment that Hong Kong should put more focus on. While it is encouraging to see certain rules and initiatives in place to promote ESG reporting and integration, a strategy combining incentives and regulations needs to be developed to support the sustained development of the industry.
