Dr. Tsui Hon-Yan Paul

Dr. Tsui is the founder of The Janel Group Asia offering third party logistics services and consultancy in Hong Kong & China; he is responsible for the strategic policy, direction, and planning for the company. He has over 35 years experience in the freight forwarding & logistics business as well as consultancy services and has held a senior management position for different Multi-National Corporation in Hong Kong. He is a post-graduate of The University of Hong Kong with Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Industrial Management & Master of Arts in Transport Policy & Planning, and he has completed his doctorate degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Business Administrate. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in Hong Kong (FCILT); Fellow Member & Chartered Marketer of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM); Fellow of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE); Fellow & Chartered Engineer of The Institute of Engineering & Technology UK; Registered Engineer of Engineering Registration Board HK; Registered Six Sigma Black Belt of Six Sigma Institute (RQP BB); Registered EU Aviation Security Validator of European Commission; and IATA DGR Instructor. He is currently the Vice President of The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport and Vice Chairman of Logistics Industry Advisory Training Committee, Education Development Bureau. Extract: Aviation Industry has been developed from frequent breakdown with accident and incident between 50s and 70s into the most safest mass transportation in the world today. Safety Management is becoming one of the important tools to maintain the acceptable level of services for the industry. In this presentation, we are going to briefly discuss the development of safety management & its future trend for Aviation.

Professor Sheela Agarwal

Professor Sheela Agarwal is Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, that is situated within Plymouth’s Business School at the University of Plymouth UK. She teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has several doctoral research students under her supervision. She has written and co-authored numerous articles in top ranked international journals such as Tourism Management and Annals of Tourism Research, as well as book chapters relating to various social and economic aspects of coastal tourism. More recently she has co-authored the text ‘Heritage, Film and Literary Tourism’ (2017) and co-edited a text entitled ‘Special Interest Tourism’, and has undertaken significant research projects for the European Union and UK government bodies. Her research interests include discourses of globalization, sustainability, climate change, heritage, screen and literary tourism, economic restructuring, conceptualizations of place and space, governance, disability, deprivation and social exclusion.
