HKU SPACE: Become a Lawyer in Hong Kong & Australia

HKU SPACE was the stepping stone to my legal career in Hong Kong and Australia.

Studying the Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law at HKU SPACE was the stepping stone to my legal career in both Hong Kong and Australia. I tremendously enjoyed my studies at HKU SPACE, learnt a lot and met many great people, some of whom have become lifelong friends.

After practising as a lawyer in Hong Kong, I moved to Brisbane. Fortunately, the Admissions Board in Queensland recognised my studies on the Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law, as well as my experience in Hong Kong. So, I was exempted from most of the top-up courses, and studied the few top-up course I did need online while taking care of my son. After that I was admitted to practice law in Queensland and, since joining my current law firm, my practice has focused on international arbitration and litigation.

I am so grateful that I chose to study the Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law at HKU SPACE, which has enabled me to pursue a legal career in both Hong Kong and Australia.
