Mr Tommy T T Lui, Adjunct Lecturer, HKU SPACE
Mr Tommy T. T. Lui is an adjunct lecturer at HKU SPACE. He has joined the School since 2004 teaching general, business and academic English courses. Tommy graduated from both London and Hong Kong Universities majoring in Applied Linguistics, Creative Writing and Finance. Apart from HKU SPACE, he has also taught courses for HKU, City University and Sun Yat-sen University in mainland China. He was an examiner for HKEAA and several Chinese Government-funded study schemes. Tommy has also offered other professional community services such as adjudicating for the Sing Tao Inter-school English Debating Competition and training school teachers on the mainland.

Watching Hollywood movies and travelling abroad, etc. happen to us for work or play every day.

Don't you find something in common? Bingo! English is what we need to get all these things done. Guess what. Bookish English won't help on these occasions.
Then what do we need?
It's everyday general English, e.g. "Gimme a pint of lager" and "Chop, chop, hurry up!", that helps us get the most out of these activities.
